About Me
I am a fourth-year Mechanical Engineering student at Worcester Polytechnic Institute committed to developing my professional and technical skills within a multidisciplinary environment, particularly in the fields of Defense and Additive Manufacturing. As an engineer, I prioritize teamwork and communication, integrating expertise and soft skills to achieve impactful solutions that benefit the stakeholders.
I am strongly self-motivated to teach myself the skills needed for personal engineering projects that I have taken on in my free time, and I especially enjoy projects with a competitive goal. This year marks my 9th year in competitive robotics across the FIRST Tech Challenge, VEX U Robotics Competition, and Combat Robotics. Consequently, many of my engineering projects have revolved around team environments. This has allowed me to develop my soft skills in communication, time management, professional responsibility, and conflict management.
I am particularly interested in exploring the use of additive manufacturing throughout the engineering design process from end to end, having employed it in many of my own projects for rapid prototyping and, in many cases, final design solutions.

Experience
-
WPI Combat Robotics
Club Treasurer January 2023 - Present- Manages club finances including $19,000 budget, related budget proposals, funding requests, and financial reimbursement forms
- Successfully negotiated a budget increase of ~$8,000 dollars from 2023 to 2024
- Developed a complete set of financial guidelines for reference by future club executive boards
- Designed, manufactured, and iterated combat robots using robust, parametric CAD modeling techniques
- Fabricated strong and lightweight robot components using additive manufacturing, CNC machining, laser cutting, and water jetting through the WPI machine shop
- Utilized Fusion 360 Dynamic FEA to simulate high energy weapon-on-weapon impacts, optimizing weapon blade geometries to improve out-of-plane bending resistance by 23%
- Developed and assembled electronic wiring harnesses for brushless motor control, with a focus on mitigating large voltage spikes
- Developed Design for Manufacturing (DFM) skills, making parts less expensive and time consuming to produce through careful design considerations
-
CME Associates
Technical Assistant June 2023 - August 2023- Drafted road construction plans for road work using Autodesk Civil 3D
- Graded sidewalk slopes to ensure compliance with ADA standards for curb ramp accessibility
- Documented road conditions in the field
-
WPI VEX U Robotics
Hardware Lead December 2021 - June 2023- Led development of two 15 in3 robots for the VEX U Robotics Competition
- Utilized additive manufacturing, laser cutting, CNC machining, sheet metal bending, and other manufacturing/prototyping processes to iterate mechanical system designs throughout the season
- Collaborated on 1000+ part CAD assemblies with a team of students
- Led the team to a record of 8-2 at the VEX World Championships (2022-2023) and a 33-4 record overall
- Documented the engineering design process through an engineering notebook, keeping track of iterations, workflow, reasoning for design changes, and competition strategy
-
WPI ME1800
Teaching Assistant October 2022 - August 2023- Taught the laboratory section of ME1800 "Manufacturing Science, Prototyping, and Computer-Controlled Machining" course, covering CNC milling and turning, laboratory safety, and computer-aided manufacturing
- Administered and graded the ME1800 final practical exams and assignments
